Help is needed! :)

Post by DutchKitty »

As you may know..... Black friday is approaching us!
I'm looking for a 2nd monitor to serve as a computer monitor and a TV! I'm wanting it to be 20+ inches with a res of 1920x1080 or somewhere around there! Hope you guys can help. I'm hoping the price could be no more than $120.
All suggestions are welcome!
Thanks

Nigger.

IPS, No money wasted on a shitty speaker system, slightly higher power consumption when on (slightly lower when on standby/off, not that it matters), slightly higher View-angle.

blah blah blah $150 +shipping, or you can try your luck with a cheaper monitor, can't seem to find any good ones with higher viewing angles and such though.

My room mate has this one, but slightly bigger, it's really nice, the speakers work well enough to sound good for tv. Good monitor for the money

I wouldn't recommend buying things like monitors that include speakers if you're looking for a high-quality product, If you're looking for good-quality gear that you'll be happy using for a long time, get stuff that does what it does, and specifically only what it does, and does it well.

I honestly can't even recommend head-sets anymore because they're less reliable and much worse quality than buying headphones and microphones separately. (Where only one general thing is specifically being judged and it's a harsher market where they can't cut as many corners without taking a hit for it.)

Though I don't expect everyone to care about that as much, if you have your own speakers (and preferably headphones), don't buy a monitor with a gimmicky speaker system.

It's not meant to be a quality part of the monitor, it's there because it's convenient and some people will buy them so they don't have to get their own speakers, especially at places where the equipment is provided for you by a company, or the goverment where they have a strict budget.

But at the end of the day, my opinion is my opinion, buy whatever monitor you think will work better for you.
