I'm the market for a good anti virus program. I've had both Norton and Kaspersky before which are both good, but I'm undecided and which one to get. Also while Norton is one of the best one out there, I hear it can slow down computers it runs on. Is that true?
Also opinions on which one I should get?
Norton or Kaspersky?

If you really have to decide between the two, kaspersky is infinitely better.MartijnV wrote:Kaspersky, Kaspersky, Kaspersky, Kaspersky, Kaspersky.

Re: Norton or Kaspersky?
I'm sure you've already made your choice but I'd say Kaspersky mostly because I've used Norton my entire gaming life and its just a terrible program all together I do not like it the only reason I do not have Kaspersky now is because I need to build a new computer because the one I'm using now is getting too old and having Norton on it now doesn't help me at all it does in fact slow down the computer it's being run on.
I'm @Best because I am da best ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡ °) ( ͡͡ ° ͜ ʖ ͡ °) k
Re: Norton or Kaspersky?
I honestly prefer Kaspersky over Norton, due to the fact that Norton has to take over your computer when you install. It's a bit scary to let a program have a complete authority over your machine.
Thus this is the sole reason why it tends to run extremely slow.

Re: Norton or Kaspersky?
From what I have experienced and heard, I do believe Kaspersky is the one to go in this choice.
Oh, and Skibur? All antiviruses/antimalware/any protection utility "takes over" and monitor the actions of your computer, not just Norton

Re: Norton or Kaspersky?
Only ESET don't take you computer over.... but it isn't blocking viruses that well... so the're has to be cons...
