Sup everyone,
I'm going to be travelling long distances in the next few months, and I can't bring my gaming PC because it's too bulky. I need a compact case and parts to add up to give or take 1000 dollars. Thanks :).

How compact? I assume the smaller, the better?

Re: New Build
Thank you so much! But if I can't do a full build, could you recommend me a laptop w/ a docking station?goinundercover wrote:How compact? I assume the smaller, the better?

I'd like enough space and capability and with decent parts that could suffice with games and schoolwork together.

Well if you wanted recommendations for laptops, you should have asked for laptop recommendations.Dick_McSlick wrote:Thank you so much! But if I can't do a full build, could you recommend me a laptop w/ a docking station?goinundercover wrote:How compact? I assume the smaller, the better?

Anyway, my recommendations :
Leveno ThinkPad T450
Solid State Drive to replace stock HDD or alternatively a Solid State Hard Drive to get both storage of a hard disk and similar speeds of a Solid State.
I'd personally stay away from a docking station at the moment if you are going for a decent machine under $1,000.

I found out I don't have space for the computer, and I'd need a laptop to take to classes anyways.MoneyKidKing wrote: Well if you wanted recommendations for laptops, you should have asked for laptop recommendations.
