How Do you Properly Record a Demo
Im not sure if this is the right board but ive always wondered how to properly record a demo and how to upload it. Was wondering if soemone could explain how to do it.

Step 1. Go to console
Step 2. type "record *demoname*" with out the asterisks and quotes of course.
Step 3. When you're done type stop in console
Step 4. to watch the demo type playdemo *demoname*
Step 5. You will need a program such as fraps to record the gameplay.

Scottish has been in "the army" for a great deal longer than Bacon.
At any rate, I advice that you do NOT use Fraps. Fraps makes their files (whatever you've recorded) HUGE. It'll take forever to upload/download or translate them into a different format. And since you're going to crack or torrent Fraps anyway, I suggest just torrenting/cracking Camtasia Studio.

well does take long time to upload but you should install window 7 movie maker that will take you 5min to upload to youtube

Fraps will give you good quality. When done recording with fraps, put it into Sony Vegas / Movie Maker and render as a .wmv and edit it all you want.
