yeah fraps videos are huge as fuck. I just deleted all of the ones i had saved and it was 90gb. holy shit don't use fraps.

along with using the Lagarith as the recording codec, because it won't fucking rape your GPU quite as hard.

You could as well use startmovie "yourmovienamehere" h264 into console. But I don't know how much space that will use. You need quicktime to use the h264 format.
