DISC-FF

Weve had the same minecraft map in the server for a good hear and a half. I personally think its getting old. I know a really good other minecraft map that has a bigger nether and other addons called trade_minecraft_tf2mp_v4. Also theres other normal maps like trade_plaza and the very popular trade_portal2_beta5. I just think a change is in order.

Also most trade_minecraft maps attract a lot of annoying/unwanted kids.

I'll consider a rotation. Maybe a new map each day or something.

I have also thought of this idea, and spent some time looking for minecraft maps for the Trad/Fun server. I told a few people that i was going to look for a new better updated version of the map to which they replied "yes that would be awesome", while doing my reserch i came up with a good looking trade map. i think that a map change is a good thing because for the original players of the Trad/fun server it can get a little boring with such a small map. so anyways the link to the map i have found is below.

I agree that a rotation would be effective. It would probably require us to pull the "Minecraft" out of our server title which has its benefits and its downfalls. The benefits being that it pulls in more traffic just for being a Minecraft map. The downside is that quite a bit of this traffic is young children and F2P's, though I have a reason to stand up for the F2P's seeing as before I started on this server I too was F2P but the guys on this server got me into trading. So changing to a rotation other than an improved map may well lead to a decline in player turnout.
