So I've been in the mood to replay through one of the Zelda games (pretty much all but the CD-I, Zelda 2, or Skyward Sword)
I always enjoy the simple 3-heart runs, but I feel like maybe adding more onto it.
Currently I'm thinking of doing an enhanced 3-heart run for OoT3D, which is 3 hearts, no deaths, no healing items besides normal hearts, no Zora tunic. I was basing some of the run ideas off of the Uber OoT Challenge, but I don't think I'm ready to perform some of that stuff (No Iron Boots and Zora Tunic Water Temple, No Longshot, Broken Giant's Knife only)
I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for challenge runs, either to add onto enhanced 3-heart run, or for one of the other Zelda games.
Also, I'm looking for suggestions for other Zelda games as well, Something like maybe the No Deaths and 3 Hearts. or not using a certain item in an area. This can apply to any of the other Zelda games.

I can only heal with recovery hearts. No Red/Blue Potions, Fairy Bottles, or Milk. No Potion based healing. I can still have green potions.Landooney wrote:Please heal.

As young link only use deku sticks as a substitute for the sword of course you can obviously use them on Dungeoun 2 Boss

Hmm maybe something like: don't use your sword unless it is needed.hisiglemic wrote:As young link only use deku sticks as a substitute for the sword of course you can obviously use them on Dungeoun 2 Boss

I decided to not use sword in combat. It can be used to break pots and cut grass.McKon wrote:Hmm maybe something like: don't use your sword unless it is needed.hisiglemic wrote:As young link only use deku sticks as a substitute for the sword of course you can obviously use them on Dungeoun 2 Boss

Re: Zelda Challenge Run suggestions
Yeah, and so far the Deku Stick Sword is working, but is kinda annoying. Throwing pots can just be a lot more time consuming. I just beat King Dodongo with Deku Sticks and bombs only.hisiglemic wrote:Dr. Axel Link wrote:I decided to not use sword in combat.
