I for one always review demos with r_drawothermodels set to 2. It's possible he just set the cvar before using playdemo while he was still connected to the server on accident. I could definitely see myself doing this by mistake. Spacetape has been a regular rule abiding player on the Dust 2 server and I have never seen anyone have problems with him.
For future reference, everyone should make a habit of setting the r_drawothermodels cvar AFTER you start playing a demo....

Portman has never been a problem for me and has been a regular at our D2 server. Hope we can fix this.
