Wireless wifi adapter
Wireless wifi adapter
Anybody have any good suggestions for a wireless adapter? My desktop is too far away from my router to run an Ethernet cable to it. My price range is between $40-60. Thanks for reading!

Re: Wireless wifi adapter
For 40-60 bucks you can buy a long ass Ethernet cable (way longer than you probably need) and just run it from the router to your comp. Better connection than wireless.

Really want to, it's just that I'm on the second floor on the opposite side of the house than the router on the first floor :/

I realize its cheap, and that's what I'd honestly rather go for, it's just that there's no way for me to wire it through the house

Re: Wireless wifi adapter
There is a way, you could put it along the wall and cover it up. And depending on your house layout you could put it through a roof. Mine goes under the house in through my wall to the thing you plug it into then to my computer. THAT was a pain in the assMike_Hunt wrote:I realize its cheap, and that's what I'd honestly rather go for, it's just that there's no way for me to wire it through the house

Re: Wireless wifi adapter
I couldn't go through the floor, if I did, I would have to go through 3 rooms to connect it. I couldn't go trough the roof because it would go through my parent's room, and that'll only happen if it snows in hell...
