Jeff the killer could use a buff.

I personally think Jeff is not only the worst Boss Pack 2, but also the worst scout boss.


Right now. He teleports into players. With a 25 second cool down and around a 4-5 second stun.
His rage does a blind and gives him about 25 flying guillotine cleavers. Doing what feels Like Slightly above vanilla damage.


Let's look at his Pros and cons.

Pros:
Ton of cleavers on rage meaning he can spam them and maybe get some kills as he thrown about by knock back.

His blind can maybe be helpful if the enemy not using a custom hud with transparent view models, or are flare jump pyro.

Double jump as a scout hale.




Cons.
Teleport has a 25 second cooldown, has 4-5 second self stun, gets him stuck inside people, most of the time a crowd of people that melt his scooty booty.

Takes a shit ton of knockback from everything.

Jungle inferno nerfed the Cleavers he throws.(no longer can minicrit at long range Not that it really helped much before)

Cleavers do piss poor damage for a rage weapon taking 2 to kill 125 hp mercs that are not braindead standing still. More if they over healed.



Ideas for buffs.

More clever damage, making them far more reliable and useful at the cost of getting less of them per a rage.

No teleport stun. You might think it sounds a bit OP but his teleports on a 25 second cooldown.

Remove teleport, and give him a Point and click teleport like sans and merasmus.

Sentry Stun on rage.

Add a QuickFix Uber(Knock Back/airblast nullification) to his rage.




Just adding One or two of those ideas could make him suck a little less, of course not all of them.

Would like to hear what the rest of you think about Jeff's current state, and what could be done to make him better.

I feel like this can be solved with a speed buff.

Where that might help, but isn't that part of the reason of the cleavers are there. To help catch those who he can't normally catch ,because he cant get to them with out being thrown around like a pinball from the knock back.

That a quirk of FF2. If a soldier takes any amount of damage caused by a boss they get full BB even if they take 1 damage.
