Bread

Post by My Sanity »

Long story. Do you store bread in your freezer? Example, I put one loaf in the cupboard, the other in the freezer for later.

(Note: Some restaurants and other food industries do this.)

Explain to me why people put bread in the freezer, to make it last longer? To eat frozen bread? Does this make me seem smarter if my bread is in the freezer?

I always put it in the freezer cause it does last longer. At least that's my opinion as a weirdos.

so it is your choice if you want to put your bread in the freezer but i don't recommend it. it affects the starch in your bread. it messes up the chain and it regroups into a crystalline structure which makes the bread harden/stale.

basically it makes your bread stale faster than it should be.

From my experience, loafed bread should be put in the cupboard, in a bag that is tightly sealed, so that no air seeps into it.

Frozen bread makes no sense to me. What do you do to unfreeze it? Microwave it? Ew.
How often do you go to the supermarket/buy bread?
If you eat a loaf in 2 weeks, it can be stored in the cupboard.

If you have a loaf of bread older than 2 weeks, tf is wrong with you.
Eat the damn bread.
shit i eat the bread before i even arrive home

the only time cereal should be placed after milk is when you add cereal to your leftover milk in the first bowl

reply to fisher's reply: no shit. i used to do it when i was young because everyone used to pass the milk around the table before the cereal. realized how shitty it was to mix the cereal and the milk for 30 seconds before beginning to fucking eat.
