I'm indifferent about this idea, it's not a bad suggestion but if/when the time comes I'm not sure how many people would actually be willing to participate in it.

Maybe we could see if Fire could send out a poll in the discord?

Unless you want to teach people how to setup virtual audio cables to prevent multiple source audio latency it might be a bit painful to listen to anyone sing, unless there's just no backing music. All in all, this idea sounds like more effort than it's worth.

Discord will even remix your voice into a robot, at least when the quality drops.

This. So much. Discord has the tendency to randomly drop latency at random for no absolute reason other than to screw you over. Wouldn't matter how great your internet is, Discord will find a way to randomly drop your ping. No one wants to hear someone go robotic in the middle of their "turn" or randomly dropped out of existence for internal or external reasons.

I think it's possible but I'm unsure how many people would be willing to perform. I made a new channel in Discord called #poll and made a poll for this idea. If there is enough support it could happen.
