The only thing/headset you need is this one !
Perfect everything, even got his own heavy duty build-in audio card.... true 5.1 headset... not like 7.1 wich is terrible to listen tho; because the 7.1 is simulated and not true.....

In the past I've recommended http://www.amazon.com/Zalman-Zm-Mic1-Se ... B00029MTMQ

They've worked fairly well for a while for most people, however a few people have since ruined or replaced theirs, not that they're exactly expensive to replace, the microphone quality was also somewhat questionable on occasion, though that could've probably been chalked up to environmental factors rather than microphone quality.
I have use a little Zalman clip-on mic for over a year now and it still works just fine. If people ever say, "it sounds a little fuzzy" all I have to do it give it a quick tap and it's fixed. They're a great choice.

I have heard a lot of good about that Logitech headset though. I have several friends who use it and enjoy it, but like Toxic said. Soul will help.
i have heard alot of good thing about logitech too but my friend tell me 4-5 hours you will be good

That is what I use. Had it for about a year now and is still fine. Got it for about $60, but it is a good heatset. Haven't had any problems with it so far.
what different between Connector Circumaural Surround Sound and G430 Surround Sound Gaming Headset

what kind mic did you use

soulharvester wrote:Don't buy Headsets, they have a normal life-span of 6 months because they're shoving twice as many wires into cords that are usually thinner than they use for normal headphones. In general they cost twice as much and are not designed to last, they're also really gimmicky and don't provide anywhere near the quality they should for the price you're paying for them.
those headsets you tell me does coming with mic?

I have also been convinced of this headset and I bought it. And as Soulharvester said: The wires can break easy. But this one is a half cm thick and is still very flexable. Also you can manage your Rear, Front, Master, Center and Bass sound, which I appreciate. In CS:GO are some people just sneaking behind us every time, where I put the Rear up more and so I got many different tactics with this headset.

Pros:
- Good wire.
- Great sound and makes you hear where it comes from.
- You can make your own tactics with this headset in CS:GO.
- You get 2 earpads: A leather once and a soft once. (You can buy those for 3$ a set, if you need new once.. #Cheap as fuck? xD)

Cons:
- Pad on the headband is a little small compared with your head, starts getting painful after 4-5 hours.
- The (red) LED of your microphone is on when it's down and turns off when you not down. (I'm used to having it on when it is up to show you it is off...)

Pros are way better than the cons, in my opinion though. So yeah.. I bought it and I happily use it. =)

I can't recommend buying a headset, but neither am I going to waste more time trying to dissuade you from purchasing one, they're not terrible, they're just not worth the premium you pay to have the microphone attached to the headphones (And all the build quality issues that adds into the mix).

Yes, soul is indeed correct when saying that headsets are expensive for their quality and performance. A cheap microphone and a pair of headphones around the same price of a headset will provide a better listening experience. That said, I love my Steelseries Siberia V2s. A little bit small on my head, but I have yet to find a pair of headphones more comfortable than these. Comfort is a priority for me.

The JVCs I recommended are super comfortable as fuck as long as you keep them tight enough. The only discomfort they've ever caused me is when I wear them too loose and they start to hurt your ears due to them resting on your ears instead of the head band.

To respond to the con's;

- Wtf, too small ? what are you use to have ? a pillow as pad ??
- Look at it like the ''LIVE'' sign in studio's from a radio station ;)
